Q. Is your wooden furniture suitable for outdoors?
A. All our outdoor furniture is designed for outdoors, some wood species are better suited to be under some sort of cover.

Q. Which wood species will handle the weather with the least maintenance?
A. Teak is the densest wood species we use for outdoor products and has its own natural oils.

Q. How do I care for my furniture?
A. See Care Instructions.

Q. What products should I use to care for my furniture?
A. Tropic Trader Danish oil and Reviver are the products that after testing we chose as our house brand.

Q. Should I varnish my furniture?
A. Never. Unless you like spending every weekend sanding it all off again when it cracks and peels.

Q. What about Rubol?
A. Although we have had many great reports about Rubol, we have had as many bad reports. We have never tested the product but believe that if the instructions are adhered to explicitly you should be able to seal your wood resulting in less maintenance for 2-4 years.

Q. Are there delivery costs?
A. We do all our own delivery and assembly in Cape Town and surrounds. All other areas are outsourced to couriers that we will gladly quote on. Please note that most of our furniture is delivered flat packed with tools and you will need to assemble the furniture yourself.

Q. How long does it take for delivery?
A. If the products are in stock we can deliver within 7 days anywhere in South Africa.

Q. Do you provide any warranty?
A. We offer a 2 year warranty if your furniture is under cover and oiled regularly, if your furniture is completely exposed we offer a 1 year warranty if it is oiled regularly.
